A New Liza for Spring and the Derby

Happy first day of Spring!  No matter what the weather is like here on Cape Cod, I always feel better when this day arrives. And to mark the occasion I have a new hat to share with you from MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS®.

The Liza by MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS®  has always been a favorite for ladies attending the Kentucky Oaks and Derby celebrations at Churchill Downs. One year a Liza even made it to the winner’s circle at the Derby. This year, to mark the end of winter I have designed a new Liza style. It is full of bold color and graceful lines to celebrate the new season and is just in time for the Derby!

Like all of the other classic Liza Derby hat styles at MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS®, this new Liza is all about elegance and style. Created in black dupioni silk, she is trimmed with a single large hot pink organza rose curl that is framed with fuchsia silk and lime green taffeta leaves. Layer upon layer of swirling lime green tulle surround the crown and create a captivating 18-inch Derby chapeau that will simply steal the show! Perfect for the Derby or the Oaks!

You can visit her at the Liza Der13-112 webpage created especially for her.

Please take a moment to enjoy the following slideshow of our new Liza created especially for the “Run for the Roses”.
