Blog-GameOnDude-Rosie2-MattWooleyThe “Hats Off to the Horses” Derby hat fundraiser sponsored by MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® to benefit Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement in Georgetown, KY is pleased to present the “Game On Dude” hat for its December auction!

Blog-GameOnDudeHat2Blog-GameOnDudeHat12This one-of-a-kind Derby hat was created to honor Kentucky-bred, 3-time winner of the Santa Anita Handicap and millionaire, Game On Dude, who recently retired to Old Friends.

You can read about the creation of The Dude chapeau at my earlier blog post, Old Friends Welcomes Game On Dude Home to Kentucky.

Blog-GameOnDude-Rosie3-MattWooleyWe want to extend a huge thank you to Rosie Napravnik who is always a super model for our auction hats as well as to Matt and Wendy Wooley of EquiSport Photos who worked their photographic magic once again. The dress that Bella Rose Clothing Boutique, Lexington, Kentucky furnished for Rosie matched the chapeau beautifully. Our thanks to you all!

The “Game On Dude” auction hat went up for bid December 1st on this Game On Dude EBay link; bidding ends December 11th at 8 PM EST.

      1. Great work & creativity! Ilex & I from Midwestern Plant Girl are dreaming about where we’d wear the Dude hat if we could afford it. 😀
