Color and Light Return to Mill Landing

I got a hot tip earlier today that the sun was going to make a comeback soon here on gray, drizzly, chilly Cape Cod.

It came from one of our local weather experts. And even with his mouth full of seeds, I could just tell that he knew what he was talking about.

ForestBeachLoop199Excited by the tip, I took a walk around the marshes, my first in I can’t remember how long.

I wasn’t going to bring the camera with all the clouds still hovering overhead, but I am so glad that I did!

MillLanding80By the time I reached Mill Landing, some of the clouds had parted and there was actually some color on the horizon.

Even the Canada Geese seemed happy as they splashed about in the channel, nibbling on yummy greens and chatting a mile a minute to their neighbors.

MillLanding82I think maybe that tip I got about the sun returning tomorrow may have been a good one after all!

MillLanding83And you know, seeing the clouds clearing and some color returning in place of all that grayness put me right back in the holiday spirit where I belong!

MillLanding84MillLanding85Thanks for visiting me here at Hats and Horses!

‘Til next time…
